Luis Reis graduated from the Bartlett School of Architecture in 2009, and following an extended period in practice has worked for two of the UK’s leading architectural studios
Design and communication is a key component of Luis’s role in the studio, working closely with clients from commercial, residential and public sectors to developing a clear understanding of their requirements and aspirations.
Luis focuses on design output, balancing a strategic and detailed approach as well as developing the formal and programmatic intentions through a clear understanding of the economic, cultural and technical conditions of each project.
Luis employs a holistic approach to the entire project process from concept design to completion, working closely with contractors and fabricators from the outset to ensure that all the interconnecting components of a project come together seamlessly.
As well as being shortlisted for the RIBA Bronze Medal in 2006, Luis has exhibited various projects at the RIBA, the prestigious Royal Academy and building design centre in London. He is also a regular critique at the University of Westminster and the Bartlett School of Architecture.
